Learn more →Drainage scope for new homes — stormwater, wastewater, sewer connections, and any required council inspections. We work alongside builders and project managers and we keep on schedule.

Drainage on a new build sits between the slab and the rest of the trades — get it wrong and the whole programme slips. We work alongside builders, project managers, and owner-builders across Wellington, Upper Hutt, and South Wairarapa, and we book in early enough that the rest of the build doesn't wait on us.
Our scope covers everything from sub-floor and external runs through to stormwater connections, wastewater, sewer tie-ins, soak pits, and the council inspection coordination that ties it all up. As-built drawings are issued on completion as a matter of course — not on request.

We pick up new build work mostly on referral from builders we've worked alongside before. The reasons are always the same: we turn up when we said we would, the council passes the work first time, and we issue the paperwork before we leave the site. That's the whole job.
Every new build's drainage has to be inspected and signed off by the territorial authority for that property — and the requirements differ across the region. As the qualified drainlayer of record, we coordinate the right inspections wherever you're building:
Whichever council you're under, we book the inspections, attend on site, and issue the as-built drawings and paperwork council needs — so the build never waits on drainage sign-off. New build needs a stormwater soak pit? See our soak pit installation service.
Earliest possible — we'll do a pre-pour walk through the plans with the builder so the in-slab runs are right, then return for sub-floor and external runs at the appropriate stages. Working in early avoids expensive cut-and-patch work later.
Yes. As a qualified drainlayer we coordinate council inspections, attend on-site as required, and issue the paperwork council needs to sign off the build. The builder doesn't have to chase it.
Yes — full drainage scope including all three, plus soak pits where required. One drainlayer, one programme, one set of council records.
Yes — as a matter of course. As-built drawings are useful for the builder's records, the council records, and the homeowner's long-term file. We don't leave site without them.
Both. Most of our new build work is for builders we know well, but we also work directly with owner-builders and project managers. The scope and process are the same either way.
One owner-operated crew across the wider Wellington region. Whatever you've got going on with your drains, we can sort it.
